All of the charities mentioned above urgently need funds to keep doing their amazing work. As per the Terms & Conditions, one or more of our charity partners will probably give you a call in the next few days to ask for your help. There is of course no obligation, but we would appreciate it if you could take the time to listen to what they have to say.

About Australian Charity Surveys:

We work with leading Charities and Not for Profit organisations to try and match people's interests with the most relevant charities.

We research Australians' attitudes to charitable giving to help Charities and NGOs understand what makes Australians tick.

Children's Education

9% or ca. 61m of children of primary school age are out of school around the world in 2014, down from 15% in 2000. That's the equivalent of 1 out of 11 primary school age children.

41% of all out-of-school children of primary school age have never attended school and will probably never start if current trends continue.

25 million children of primary school age are expected to never attend school. Two thirds of them are girls.

Climate Change

- the average temperature across global land and ocean surfaces in 2016 was 58.69 degrees F or 1.69 degrees F above the 20th century average, and the highest since record keeping began in 1880.

North America had its warmest year on record; South America and Africa had their second; Asia and Europe had their third; and Australia had its fifth.

The average Arctic sea ice extent for the year was 3.92 million square miles, the smallest annual average since record-keeping began in 1979.
